A Smarter Way to Manage Your Flock

The design of the ALIS lamp translates directly into operational advantages on the farm:

  • Total Uniformity, Zero Shadows: Because the lamps can be moved along the cable with a simple "unclip and slide" action, you can achieve perfect lux levels at the feeder and drinker lines. No more "dead spots" where birds huddle and litter quality degrades.
  • Flicker-Free Welfare: Chickens see at a much higher "frame rate" than humans. Standard LEDs can appear like a strobe light to them, causing chronic stress and aggression. ALIS lamps operate at such high frequencies they are scientifically flicker-free to the bird, resulting in calmer flocks and lower mortality.
  • Built for the Pressure Washer: With an IP66/IP67 rating, our lamps are "Rough Service" certified. They are built to withstand high-pressure wash-downs and the corrosive ammonia vapours common in intensive farming without the lenses clouding or the electronics failing.
  • Dawn-till-Dusk Simulation: Our lamps integrate seamlessly with ALIS controllers to provide smooth, linear dimming. This simulates a natural sunrise and sunset, reducing the "flight or fight" response during light transitions and encouraging better nesting and feeding patterns.
  • Specialised Applications: Beyond standard white light, we offer specialized lamps like the ALIS Blue, specifically designed to keep birds calm during catching or vaccination, significantly reducing bruising and injury.

Induction-Driven Brilliance

Each ALIS lamp contains a specialized internal transformer that interacts with the magnetic field of the ALIS Bus.

  • Integrated Induction Coupler: The "base" of every ALIS lamp is a passive induction receiver. It harvests energy directly from the bus cable, meaning no internal battery or physical wiring is required.
  • Constant Current Drivers: Unlike cheap LEDs that use "pulse width modulation" (which causes flicker), ALIS lamps use high-end constant current drivers. This ensures a steady, non-fluctuating light output even when dimmed to 10%.
  • Species-Specific Spectra: Our LEDs are selected to hit the precise "peaks" of animal vision. For poultry, this means a spectrum optimized for their photopic response (how they see and react to light), which is far broader than the human range.
  • Thermal Management: The lamps feature a robust, anodised aluminium heat sink. Because excessive heat is the primary enemy of LED longevity, this design ensures a rated life of up to 100,000 hours.
